Here is what caught my attention this week.

What I’m Watching:
It’s been a long wait for Stranger Things fans, but finally, season 4 is here. While previous seasons have consisted of just one volume, this season will be split into two volumes, with seven episodes in the first and two in the second. The first volume premiered on Netflix in May, and the second volume followed five weeks later in July. Set in March 1986, eight months after the Battle of Starcourt that ended the previous season, this season is sure to be full of twists and turns. I’ve cleared my schedule so I can binge-watch!

New Tool I’m Using:
If you’re looking to boost your TikTok following and earn some money in the process, the TikTok creative center is a great resource. The site offers a variety of tools to help creators develop engaging content that will resonate with users. You can explore TikTok trends, access royalty-free music and templates, and more. The site also provides insights into top ads to better understand what’s working well on the platform. You can optimize your videos and grow your profile with this valuable information. Check out the creative center if you’re serious about making it big on TikTok.

Campaign I Checked Out:
Opulous connects artists and investors using blockchain and smart contract technology powered by cryptocurrency. This artist, “ Kyle,” has over 2 billion streams and listeners worldwide. Since fungible tokens are easily divisible and can be traded for similar assets, Opulous uses them as the basis for all its MFT sales. Because MFTs allow fractional investments, every fraction represents a token. This campaign enables the investor to Invest in Kyle and get a share of his music royalties. The music business has seen many changes over the years, and many thought something like this would eventually happen. I’ll be keeping a keen eye on this.

Song I’m Enjoying:
It’s hard not to find joy in anything the Tedeschi Trucks Band does. A large band that can seem to feel where each other is going to go in every song they play. They have an undeniable “ feel “ on stage and in the studio. This song, “ Hear My Dear,” is no exception. It sways back and forth like a finely tuned clock; half steps in the chorus that almost are pendulum-like, Derek Trucks’ voice like slide guitar, and a backing band with absolutely everything you need. This song will put a smile on your face.

Quote of the week:
“If you can’t feed a team with two pizzas, it’s too large.” — Jeff Bezos, Founder, and CEO of Amazon.
