As a startup founder, hosting online events can be hugely beneficial. It’s an opportunity to create engagement with customers and generate interest in your product or service. But where do you start? What kind of tools do you need in order to host a successful event? Let’s break it down.

Video Conferencing Software.
The first thing you’ll need is video conferencing software. This is what allows everyone to join the event from wherever they are as if they were all in the same room. There are many great options out there, such as Zoom, Webex, and Google Meet. When choosing the right platform for your event, consider its features and capabilities for large-scale events like yours. Is it easy to use? Does it allow for video streaming? Does it offer interactive features like polls and Q&A sessions? Make sure that the platform meets all of your needs before you commit to using it.

Marketing Tools.
Once you have everything set up, you’ll need some marketing tools to make sure your event gets maximum exposure. Social media is always going to be a great place to start; post details about the event on all of your social accounts so that people know when and where it will take place, who will be attending, and what topics will be discussed. You can also use email marketing services like MailChimp or Constant Contact to send out invitations and reminders directly to potential attendees’ inboxes. Finally, consider investing in paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook or Instagram; this will help increase visibility even more!

Analytics Tools.
Finally, no event would be complete without analytics tools! These allow you to track attendance numbers and feedback from attendees during the event itself — and afterwards too! Popular analytics tools include Google Analytics, Hotjar, Kissmetrics, Mixpanel etc., which provide detailed insights into user behaviour before, during and after the event takes place. This data can then be used to improve future events by providing valuable information on what worked well (or not so well) at each one.

Hosting successful online events as a startup founder requires careful planning and preparation — but with the right tools at your disposal, anything is possible! Video conferencing software allows everyone to join virtually while marketing tools ensure maximum exposure for your event ahead of time. And finally, analytics tools are essential for tracking user behavior throughout the entire process — allowing you to make adjustments as necessary for future events.
